NEW DEVELOPMENT COMING TO WHITES CREEK

Is This The "Best" Whites Creek Can Do?

Northeast corner of Green Lane & Whites Creek
43 homes on 11 acres (R10 zoning) 20 clustered homes
$180,00- low $200,000's
100-150 cars exiting one driveway onto Green Lane
Increased traffic at dangerous intersection of Green Lane, Whites Creek Pike, Briley on/off ramp

A coalition of neighbors is very concerned this development is of low quality, too high of density and not in keeping with Whites Creek rural character. Is this the standard we want to set for future development? Healthy property values and a peaceful quality of life is why you established your life here. We all came here for different reason, but most agree that the rural charm was a our first love.
The surrounding natural resources of trees, creeks, wildlife and pasture are what makes our lifestyle here so rich. Let's join together to embrace our healthy quality of life!

THURSDAY FEBRUARY 27TH 4-6PM @ Sonny West Conference Room at Howard Office Bldg downtown, 2nd Ave South. We will be asking for a deferral of the approval of the development so we can voice together our vision.

Downton Abbey...Antiques and Garden Show Feb. 7-9

Lady Carnarvon will present the Antiques and Garden Show’s keynote lecture on opening day, Friday, Feb. 7, at 11:30 a.m.

Following her presentation, she will hold a signing for her second book about Highclere Castle, Lady Catherine, The Earl and the Real Downton Abbey, which will be released in the U.S. on Oct. 29, 2013. This book is a follow-up to the international bestseller, Lady Almina and the Real Downtown Abbey, and focuses on the remarkable American heiress who came to reign at Highclere Castle in the 1920s.
